Clove
Therapy Dog
Hi there! Most Mondays and Wednesdays I get to go to work with Mum. I have a great time welcoming people to the space, getting pats, and napping on the couch. I like to let people know my favourite scratch spots by pawing or conveniently lying with my back in their direction. Although I am an intelligent and gentle soul, sometimes I get overexcited and jump onto people's laps.
My favourite things to do when I'm not at work are going on walks, playing at the beach, and annoying my brother. I get scared in thunderstorms so if there's bad weather you'll find me safe at home in Mum's bed. I went through special training to be here and my most important job is to be a source of comfort and support, but I won't feel offended if you don't want me by your side. Just let Mum know and I'll sit next to her instead.

What to Expect at your First Appointment
At your first appointment, Hannah will invite you in and introduce you to the space. She will warmly step through the therapy process and her approach as a clinician before beginning to explore your current concerns, elements of your background and history that you feel comfortable sharing, and what you would like to get out of attending therapy. As you are getting to know each other and building rapport, you will start to get a sense of whether Hannah is going to be the right psychlogist for you. If at the end of the session you decide the fit feels right, Hannah will talk through a proposed treatment plan based on therapeutic approaches designed to meet your needs.
If the fit does not feel right or if your needs would be better supported by an alternative service, Hannah will talk through some different options for you moving forward.
